Chartered Account by qualification and having over 25 years experience in various facets of business both as a professional and an entrepreneur.He is experienced, result oriented Financial Management professional with demonstrated success in Financial process improvement and budget administration. He has been a member of the various stock exchanges in India for the last 10 years. Has been associated with various Iron & Steel Plants in India as Consultants. His proven ability to cost control without sacrificing on the operational efficiency has led to positive impact on the bottom-line of the organisation. His attitude of building new relationships and taking them to new highs is an asset in achieving the long term objectives of the organisation. He diversified into health care and Financial Services Business in India.
Around 5 years back, accepted the new assignment and was instrumental in setting up the Mining Business for the company in close tie up with Bankers, Institutions and controlling the Finance of the Group.

Anil TODI

Director

Mr. Anil Todi is a qualified Mechanical Engineer with a post graduate degree in MBA ( Finance ). He has worked for some of the leading project companies in India at the start of his career. Staring his career in one of the Leading Project Management company in India, he had a stint in Manufacturing set up as head of the Supply Chain Group.
During his 20 years of post-qualification experience he has worked in several companies in the functional role of Project Management , Supply Chain Management and Administration. He has skills to manage all aspects of the project lifecycle from concept to commissioning. Equipped with Techno commercial qualification he has the ability to design a robust Organisational structure, with strict Operational and Financial control. His strength in negotiating long term supplies and contracts can be an asset for any organisation. With expertise in the above discipline , he has successfully set up the Manganese Processing Plant in Gabon for NGM of capacity of over 2 Million TPA within a span of 3 years.

Samaila Zubairu

Director

Mr. Samaila Zubairu is AFC’s 3rd President and Chief Executive Officer. With over 30 years’ of professional experience, his entrepreneurial leadership propelled the development and implementation of a new five-year corporate strategy, which, at its core, addressesthe urgent mandate of developing and financing infrastructure, natural resources and industrial assets on the continent. Key pillars of the strategy include enhancing the capacity of the team and entrenching a High-Performance Culture; coherent ecosystem strategy for value accretive beneficiation and import substitution; proactive risk and portfolio management to improve AFC’s rating and diversifying the Corporation’s funding sources.
Prior to his appointment at AFC, Mr. Zubairu was the CEO of Africapital Management Limited, where he established a joint venture with Old Mutual’s African Infrastructure Investment Managers, to develop the Nigerian Infrastructure Investment Fund for infrastructure private equity across West Africa.

Oliver Andrews

Director

Mr. Oliver Andrews is AFC’s Executive Director and Chief Investment Officer, leading the origination, technical/industry and project development teams, and is a member of the Executive Committee. He is an entrepreneurial engineer and transport economist with an extensive background in engineering, transport and project finance. Mr. Andrews has over 30 years’ experience in the various infrastructure sectors and 20 years as an infrastructure project developer, financier and strategic adviser.
He was the Project Director for Cenpower, leading a multidisciplinary project team that successfully achieved financial close for a US$900 million landmark project in Ghana, which won the 2014 Africa power deal of the year.
Mr. Andrews is a former CEO of TCI Infrastructure Limited and the Gambia

Taiwo Adeniji

Director

Mr. Taiwo Adeniji is currently Senior Director, Investment Operations & Execution at the Africa Finance Corporation (AFC), a multilateral specialist infrastructure financing institution headquartered in Lagos, Nigeria, where he has responsibility, among others, for the institution’s investments in oil & gas, and mining projects. Taiwo has had over 26 years of post-graduate and extensive professional and managerial experience in several areas of banking and finance. He has deep knowledge and extensive experience with infrastructure and mining policy issues, as well as the analysis, evaluation and financing of infrastructure and mining projects. Taiwo has supervised AFC’s investments in mining projects that spanned different products, including gold, copper, bauxite, and iron ore, as well as in different geographies, including countries in West, North and Central Africa. During the previous thirteen years (1994 – 2007) Taiwo worked with the African Development Bank (ADB), living in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire and Tunis, Tunisia, and focussing largely on infrastructure investments and financial sector development.
Taiwo’s academic background is in economics and finance. He is a Honorary Senior Member (HCIB) of The Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria.
